Between October 3 and October 19 Sean Blamires visited Uruguay to work with Luis Fernando García Hernández, Mariángeles Lacava, Carmen Viera and Marco Benamu on a variety of projects, including:
(1) Silk property comparisons of web building and non-web building wolf spiders,
(2) The effects of pesticide exposure on the silk properties of the orb web spider, Parawixia audax and
(3) The effect of the invasive Australian spider Budumna lingiquus on the properties of a social spider (Agelenopsis viera) nest.
