Between January 5 and January 15 Sean Blamires and Madeleine Blamires conducted a research trip accompanied by Jessica Henneken from the University of Melbourne along the east coast between Sydney and Brisbane. The trip was intended to sample more silk for temporal and spatial silk property comparisons among species. In addition Jessica sampled spiders and silks for her research on pheromones.
