Here’s a preview of the cover of the soon to be completed (in progress since 2018) Silk book.
My book entitled “Silk: Exploring Nature’s Superfibre” is now available through XLIBRIS. Go to: https://www.xlibris.com/en/bookstore/bookdetails/821509-silk to pre-order a copy.
I have opened up a blog post to complement the Book “Silk: Exploring Nature’s Superfibre. It is called “The Uruguay Lectures” since the book was compiled from Lectures on silk delivered in Uruguay in 2018. The idea is to stimulate more conversations about silk research and biotechnology. Please leave comments.

Our article on silkworm silk nanopores was the cover article for the August 7 edition of Journal of Materials Chemistry B.
Our 1000 spider silkomics paper was the cover article of Volume 8 of Science Advances- https://www.science.org/toc/sciadv/8/41. This was an immense project spanning labs around the world. The Spider Silk Research Lab is so proud to see the work come out and be so well received.
